New York Fashion Week Invitation!

Ever since I started Fashionista I have been living a dream!! I went to Fashion shows, I got on TV and magazines, I met designers, I worked with one of the top Lebanese Fashion designers... But I have never ever thought that Fashionista will take me to New York for the fashion week!!!

Apparently Fashionista is growing and succeeding more than I thought is possible. I can honestly say I'm so grateful for you guys! You make all this happen to me! It's amazing how a small little fashion page helped me reach the sky.

Always think positively, believe in yourself, and be grateful. Dreams do come true!

International model turned fashion designer Jelena Jakovljević Bin Drai has unveiled her Spring/Summer 2014 collection, solidifying Duchess by Jelena as the luxury label of choice for the UAE's stylish elite.

Established in 2012, Duchess by Jelena is fast becoming the luxury label of choice for the UAE's stylish elite. Founded by former Miss Yugoslavia and international model, Jelena Jakovljević Bin Drai, this season's collection pays homage to her love of architecture, taking influence from the city’s towering skyline.

The iconic vision of Dubai’s skyscrapers offers a lineal influence to the collection, with a focus on embellished lines flowing through fabrics and elongated silhouettes. Corset-like elements further amplify the structural theme, with tactical detailing toughening up feminine cuts.
